Login using your FULL email address and your Student ID.
You will see your COURSES tab with Your Current Courses.
Also, you will see under YOUR COURSES the unique IDs for your course, the course
names, and the names of your instructors beside each course.
- How to view pending assignments:
- Select one of your courses by clicking on the name of the course.
- If you have received an assignment from your instructor, you will see a PENDING
ASSIGNMENT with the due date.
- To see the pending assignment, click on the name of the assignment. You will see
the ASSIGNMENT DETAILS with the name of the course, assignment title, due date and
time, and a description of the assignment.
- How to submit an assignment:
- After you have viewed PENDING ASSIGNMENTS, follow your instructor’s directions.
- Compose your essay in your word processor. When it is completed, highlight the entire
essay. Then from the EDIT button on your browser, click on “COPY.” Close your Word
processor.
- Login to WRITING/REMARKS and go to your PENDING ASSIGNMENTS.
- Click on the RED Submit Essay link beside the assignment.
- You will see the ESSAY SUBMISSION menu with the title of the assignment, due date
and description.
- In the TEXT EDITOR box, paste your highlighted/copied essay into the box.
- Click on the SUBMIT ESSAY bar.
- Your essay will re-appear so that you can review your essay before completing submission.
If you choose to edit your essay, click on the EDIT ESSAY bar at the bottom of the
screen.
- Once you have made revisions, click on the SUBMIT ESSAY bar once again. If necessary,
review your essay one last time before clicking on the COMPLETE SUBMISSION bar.
- Log out of WRITING/ REMARKS.
- How to view Grade Reports:
- Login and click on the course name.
- Under the SUBMITTED ASSIGNMENTS section you will see your grade and the report.
- To view the report, click on the RED view report link.
- You will see your entire essay, including highlighted areas with corresponding Remarks
inserted into the margins. These can be positive and/or negative Remarks.
- At the end of your essay there will be a detailed explanation of the Remarks placed
into your essay.
These are divided into five sections:
- Words: Misspelled words, incorrect usage, slang, etc.
- Sentences (including Punctuation): Grammar and punctuation.
- Paragraphs: Paragraph structure, content, cohesion, coherence, etc.
- Documentation: Use of secondary sources.
- Dialogue: General comments about your essay overall.
Note: In some cases, you will not see a grade, or you will see a “0.” Your instructor
may withhold your grade pending a conference or pending your completion of grammar
or written exercises.
